watched fiona apple through someone else’s glasses, was cured in smoke at 285 kent, drank a cheep beer in a dark room at 3 pm, danced to silly psychedelic music, stayed up too late, ate a bagel at a train station, played with kittens we’re going to adopt, talked about high school, made new friends, was recognized for being in my band by a dude who told me i have a great voice.

Four Years of Good Moments at CMJ Summarized
2008: Brooklyn Vegan (?) showcase at MHOW feat. Passion Pit, Ponytail and a hilarious Jens Lekman DJ set. GORGEOUS seated Shearwater show at LPR.
2009: BV Loft Show with fucking Local Natives, The Love Language & Immaculate Machine. Jukebox the Ghost at Bowery.
2010: Wavves/Dirty Projectors/Phoenix and DAFT PUNK at MSG. Baths at Cake Shop. Revolver at Cake Shop. Unremembered Dinosaur Feathers loft show with terrible sound.
2011: EVERY NIGHT WAS GOOD! Last Titus Andronicus show w/ Amy at Glasslands, Zola Jesus killing everything with her voice at LPR, Alabama Shakes and epic EMA show at Bowery, like ten good bands Friday at 285, and Delta Hotel, Dustin Wong and Gang Gang Dance on Saturday.
